The short version
The app doesn't require an account. Your data stays on your device. We don't sell anything. We don't share anything. The waitlist collects your email for one purpose: notifying you when the app launches.
The app itself
No BS Feelings Finder does not require an account or login. The core app — phrase lookup, journaling, history — stores all data locally on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
iCloud sync: If you enable iCloud sync, your journal entries are backed up to your personal iCloud account via Apple's infrastructure. We don't have access to that data. It follows Apple's iCloud privacy policy, not ours.
HealthKit: If you enable the Apple Health integration, the app writes State of Mind samples and Mindful Minutes to your Health app. This is write-only — we don't read from Health. You can revoke this access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy > Health.
Analytics: We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs in the app. We don't know what you look up, how often you use it, or what you write in your journal.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. We use it for one thing: sending you a single notification when the app launches on the App Store.
We will not: send you a newsletter, add you to a marketing list, sell your address, or contact you about anything else.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@feelingsarentbs.com to be removed manually.
Waitlist emails are stored with Resend, our email provider. Their privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
The beta program
Beta testing is invite-only. If you're invited and confirm your spot, we collect your name and email to coordinate testing. We use this information only to communicate about the beta program. It is not shared with any third parties.
Beta tester feedback — including any written responses — is used solely to improve the app. We don't attribute feedback publicly without explicit permission.
Cookies
This website uses no tracking cookies. We don't use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts. The only cookies that may be set are functional ones required for the site to work (session state, form submissions).
Third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
The services we use to operate the site and waitlist:
Vercel — hosts this website. May log IP addresses in server logs for security purposes. Vercel privacy policy.
Resend — stores waitlist email addresses and sends the launch notification. Resend privacy policy.
Apple — the App Store, iCloud, HealthKit, and TestFlight are Apple services subject to Apple's privacy policy.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your waitlist email at any time by emailing hello@feelingsarentbs.com or using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Since the app stores data locally on your device, you control it directly — delete the app to delete the data.
If you're in the EU or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
No BS Feelings Finder is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and — if you're on the waitlist — send a note. We won't make changes that retroactively affect how we use data you've already provided.
